Ikhtilafiyah Furu’iyah Sejarah dan Metode Ijtihad Para Imam Mujtahid

Abstract

Allah SWT has said in the third verse of Surah al-Maidah, "Today I have perfected your religion, and I have completed your favors, and I am pleased that Islam is your religion." In a narration, "Indeed the religion that is with Allah is the religion of Islam." These two statements show that the religion recognized and accepted by Allah SWT is Islam. Islam is a religion that has universal teachings covering all aspects of life, both worldly and ukhrawi. However, Islamic teachings are not free from differences of opinion on differences in ushuliyah and furu'iyyah. It is happening because the method used by each school of thought is different. So there are legal differences as a result of the ijtihad he does. This scientific writing contains the history and methods used by four mujtahid priests known as the four priests of the school of thought, namely Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik, Imam Syafi'i, and Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal.
