EFEKTIVITAS METODE CERDAS CERMAT DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KEAGAMAAN SISWA DI TPQ AN-NUR

The quiz-based learning approach, such as the Cerdas Cermat method, has proven effective in enhancing students' comprehension and learning motivation, as evidenced by this study analyzing its effectiveness at TPQ AN-NUR through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test analysis. Involving 24 students divided into eight teams named after the Prophet's companions, the pre-test results showed an average comprehension score of 68, which increased to 89 after the competition (a 30.8% improvement), while 99% of the 120 questions given were answered correctly during the competition. These findings confirm that the Cerdas Cermat method not only improves students' religious comprehension but also strengthens their competitiveness and motivation to learn. However, challenges remain, including competition-induced stress, disparities in participants' readiness, and a tendency for questions to focus more on memorization rather than deep understanding. Therefore, mitigation strategies are needed to create a more inclusive and adaptive competitive environment, ensuring the benefits of this method are more widely and equitably experienced.
