About the Journal
Al Wadud: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam dan Pemikiran Islam is a scholarly journal focusing on Islamic education and Islamic thought. This scientific journal is published biannually in January and July by STAIHAS Publishing House and is managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of STAI Haji Agus Salim Cikarang Bekasi.
The journal publishes scientific articles, research papers, community service reports, undergraduate theses, and graduate theses that discuss various issues related to Islamic education and Islamic intellectual traditions. Its scope includes studies on Islamic education, curriculum development, learning innovation, pesantren education, Islamic thought, contemporary Islamic issues, and the integration of Islamic values in education.
Al Wadud is a bilingual journal that accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English. It welcomes contributions from scholars, researchers, practitioners, and experts in the fields of Islamic education and Islamic thought, particularly within the context of educational institutions such as universities, colleges, schools, madrasahs, and pesantrens in Indonesia.
The aim of Al Wadud Journal is to provide readers with a deeper understanding of the development and dynamics of Islamic education and thought in Indonesia, while also disseminating scholarly works in the form of research articles, conceptual studies, and book reviews.
We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and observers of Islamic education and thought to submit original and research-based articles. Submitted manuscripts must be unpublished, not under consideration elsewhere, and must follow the journal’s writing guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements will be rejected without review. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process by experts in the relevant fields. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their published work.
Al Wadud Journal is currently in the process of being indexed in Crossref, Garuda, Moraref, Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search, Morabase, and Dimensions.
