Abstract

The concept of Islamic economics is a regulation that is present in the midst of societal problems which can lead to errors in thinking. Buying and selling transactions are highly prioritized because this is recommended by the Prophet Muhammad, but with several requirements so that buying and selling transactions can provide financial benefits and rewards. Therefore, Islamic economic law exists to regulate problems in buying and selling. This research uses qualitative methods by utilizing data collection methods through literature studies, as well as data processing methods through editing, classification, verification and conclusions. The results of this analysis show that the practice of buying and selling is haram if it contains activities that are not permitted in Islam such as usury, gharar, and several other things. So the presence of Islamic economic law in this case is very important because it can direct the Indonesian people to know the types of transactions that are prohibited in Islam.
